The volume is the edition of the old excavations carried out in Segesta, at the Sanctuary of Contrada Mango, between the 1950s and the 1960s of the twentieth century. The sanctuary is located on the south-eastern slopes of Mount Barbaro. It has returned a monumental peribolos and the remains of a peripteral temple. The sacred area documents phenomena of cultural interaction between the Elymian center and the Hellenic environment (Selinuntine first of all) in the Archaic and Classical Ages.
